General |
| |
|
SGNIC is the ccTLD Administrator
for .sg domain name space. Currently, only the following six
Second Level Domains under the .sg are supported by SGNIC
in line with the domain names under generic TLD (gTLD):
com.sg, net.sg, org.sg, gov.sg, edu.sg, and per.sg.
Any application or proposal for creating a new Second Level
Domain (SLD) shall be submitted to SGNIC for consideration
and approval. |
| |
|
|
| |
1.2 |
As additional SLD may use up
the resources within the .sg domain name space, the following
procedure shall be followed by an applicant in applying for
a SLD and by SGNIC in approving the SLD. |
| |
|
|
| |
1.3 |
As far as possible, SGNIC will
adopt applicable policy guidelines drawn up by ICANN in administering
domain name space. To minimize potential confusion in the
'marketplace', SGNIC may limit the number of new SLDs to be
created. |
