If a user changes or transfers his mobile, paging or fixed-line number, will he be able to do the same for his ENUM number?
Since ENUM can only be registered to the rightful holder of a telephone number, when a user changes his mobile, paging or fixed-line number, he loses his right to use the existing ENUM. He can, however, apply for a new ENUM based on his new telephone number. If the user continues to be the rightful assignee of his old telephone number through number-porting, then he may also continue to use his old ENUM.
